This fall, the Environmental Technology Program (ETP) traded classrooms for the great outdoors at their annual Fall Camp, where learning comes with fresh air, muddy boots, and lots of laughs with staff and classmates. Fall Camp is a staple experience for incoming and returning students to look forward to every year.

Read MoreOn September 29, 2026, Nunavut Arctic College commemorated the day by holding a country food feast for local Elders prepared by staff and student volunteers at the Nunatta Campus in Iqaluit. A reflection wall was also set up to encourage students to reflect and share their thoughts on truth and reconciliation.
In Rankin Inlet, at the Kivalliq Campus staff and students congregated for a feast, and to learn from Elders, Martha Kanayok and Simeonie Ammaq, as they spoke about tuberculosis as part of the Inuit experience.

Les six étudiantes et étudiants de la première cohorte sont extrêmement motivés et passionnés, et ressentent une grande fierté à l’idée de poursuivre leur formation en travail social. S’étant déplacés au Nunavut pour donner le programme, les membres du corps professoral ont pu acquérir une meilleure compréhension de la culture, de l’histoire et du contexte social du peuple inuit.
